After the great success of last year’s event with more than 600 participants, the 3rd Additive Manufacturing Forum from 14 – 15 March 2019 in Berlin presents itself again with a user-oriented, cross-industry program. The forum is supported by the founding partners Airbus Group, Deutsche Bahn, Stratasys, 3yourmind, Mobility goes Additive and Berlin Partner for Business & Technology.
One of the opening speeches will be given by Dr Hans J. Langer, Chairman & Founder, EOS Group. Other highlights are the user reports from Marco Kormann, Director Technology Innovation, adidas AG, Maximilian Hauk, VP Pilot Plant and Additive Manufacturing Campus, BMW Group, Stefanie Brickwede, Head of Additive Manufacturing, Deutsche Bahn AG, Dr. Karl-Heinz Dusel, Head of Additive Manufacturing Technology, MTU Aero Engines AG, Dr. Horst Arnet, SVP Corporate Tool Management and Prototyping, Schaeffler AG and Dr. Reinhard Noebauer, Member of the Management Board, voestalpine High Performance Metals GmbH.
In the growing exhibition more than 60 leading AM technology, software, material and service providers will show hands-on what is already possible today. Participants are invited to bring along their specific questions. The forum is aimed at both beginners and advanced users of the technology from the industries aerospace, automotive, rail, mechanical engineering, construction and agriculture, medical technology and sciences.
The common goal of all actors is to learn from each other across industries in the use of the new technologies. The compact two-day event offers numerous opportunities for value-adding exchange with experts at eye level.
On the eve of the event, there will be an interesting evening event on the 3D Campus Berlin. In addition, the association Mobility goes Additive e.V. in cooperation with IPM AG invites the female AM community to the European Summit for Women in AM on 13 March 2019. The aim is to support the networking of women in specialist and management positions in the additive world.
