Lossburg, 13/9/2019

Digitalisation will be a focal point of Arburg’s appearance at the K 2019 trade fair. But the company is offering more than a presentation of its range of digital products and services – it’s going a big step further and enables K 2019 visitors with free Wi-Fi so that they can be online whenever they want.

“We’re always thinking outside the box,” commented Juliane Hehl, Managing Partner responsible for marketing and technology. “And we’re also well aware that digitalisation isn’t purely related to products, but is also quite simply to do with the availability of basic digital prerequisites, such as a fast Wi-Fi.” Juliane Hehl added that the issue of digitalisation was something that touched people’s hearts and emotions, as well as their brains and intellect. She hoped that visitors to the fair would therefore “feel” that Arburg was supporting and accompanying them in every respect when it came to digitalisation.

Düsseldorf scores a first

“Messe Düsseldorf “ has broken new ground by providing a central Wi-Fi connection. And it is fitting that Arburg, an industry pioneer in digitalisation, has come up with an idea that may well be one of a kind worldwide, namely: to provide visitors to K 2019 with a free Wi-Fi connection under the name “arburgXworld”. “When working on our concept for K 2019, we didn’t just focus on presenting the products and services we offer in relation to digitalisation in a clear and practical way,” explained Juliane Hehl. “It is also important to us that visitors enjoy the benefits of digitalisation while they visit the fair. A fast, free-of-charge Wi-Fi connection is an important feature here.”

“arburgXworld” Wi-Fi for visitors to K 2019

The free Wi-Fi connection for visitors will cover the entire exhibition site at Düsseldorf. If people visiting the fair between 16 and 23 October 2019 want to be online the entire time, they simply need to select the “arburgXworld” Wi-Fi and enter their eTicket code. The “Arburg K 2019” app also has detailed information, so that visitors can go online and thoroughly acquaint themselves with Arburg’s exhibits and applications together with those on partner stands, and also contact the companies directly.
