Joint SPE Flexible Packaging Division/AIMCAL Event Will Take Place in October 15-18, 2017

BETHEL, CT, U.S.A., August 17, 2017:  The Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) and the Association of Industrial Metallizers, Coaters, and Laminators (AIMCAL) will present a combined event on October 15-18, 2017 in Naples, FL.

SPE Flexible Packaging Division announced that Alison Keane, CEO of the Flexible Packaging Association will be the plenary speaker at SPE FlexPackCon 2017. Her presentation is titled “Flexible Packaging-State of the Industry.” She will address industry data, current trends and drivers, and issues and concerns within the industry.

SPE’s FlexPackCon General Operating and Program Chair Donna Davis stated, “It is a dynamic time for the flexible packaging industry, and Alison will offer an industry perspective on what the future holds.”

Building on a successful 2016 conference with nearly 400 attendees, over 100 presentations and more than 75 exhibitors, the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) and the Association of Industrial Metallizers, Coaters, and Laminators (AIMCAL) will again present a combined event in 2017. The 4 year of this joint program will feature nearly 100 sessions organized in tracks focused on the latest advances in flexible packaging technologies, networking receptions with tabletop exhibits and several optional events including pre-conference short courses.
