The motan-group „Making the impossible possible“ Statement Sandra Füllsack

2021 was marked by many emotions. The joy of higher order intake was clouded by major problems in the supply chain. Almost every day, our employees tried to make the impossible possible.

Nevertheless, we look to the new year 2022 with confidence. Our order books are well filled and the industry’s willingness to invest remains high. The automotive sector is strong despite its own supply chain problems and the trend in the electrical industry in particular is clearly pointing upwards. Thanks to strong demand for consumer goods, the figures are also very encouraging in the packaging and household goods sectors.

One challenge will still be the fragile supply chain, which is still suffering from the effects of the pandemic. In our opinion, this will continue until the second quarter of 2022. This makes it even more important for us to strengthen the cooperation with local suppliers in our worldwide production facilities.

The outlook for the major exhibitions in 2022 is also positive. At Chinaplas we will present many new products from the swift series. Further innovations can be seen at the K show in autumn.

Our worldwide presence enables us as a company to react very flexibly to the different market situations. Despite the crisis, the new sales offices in Mexico and South America were able to start operations. The demand in the USA continues to be strong and the Asian countries once again show the potential of these markets. We are therefore looking forward to an exciting and challenging year 2022 and are looking forward to meeting everyone in person again at the K show at the latest.
